South East Region Autumn League 2015

Our region is running a SJ over 7 weeks with the final in Ballinamona on Sat 7th Nov. We ran our leg on Sunday 18th Oct. The course looked and jumped well and all there enjoyed a cuppa and refreshments in our new clubhouse. Our own members who took part did great. Isobelle Gould and Foxy Furisto won the Primary Class, Sandra Skehan on View Persion Princess jumped a lovely clear round almost at optimum time to come 2nd in a competitive Advanced Primary class. We had 4 intermediates. Caroline Kelly and Myshall Lester unusually tipped a pole, Sally Roberts on Myshall Gerry and Margaret Byrne on Marshall Curtis both went clear but not fast enough to be placed. It was our youngest rider Niamh Roche on Dippy who made the ribbons getting 3rd in a hotly contested class. Last but not least, Bernadette Hayes and Paris Breeze won the Advanced Intermediate class also with a lovely clear round, fast enough to stay ahead of the opposition. We had a good turnout from the region with riders from Ballycanew, Coole Lane, Russellstown, Nuenna Farm, Broomfield and Thomastown & District.
